"The Germans wont get as far as this." (Wiesel 19)
In this quote the nieveness of the people of Sighet shines. The German army is thought to have limitations to were they are able to go. To the people who live in this village there home seems untouchable.
"Fire! I can see fire! I can see fire!" (Wiesel 33)
A preminision of fire strikes a woman. It almost seems like a warning to the people on the train. Maybe a wildfire or maybe a fireplace that is lit. The woman is obviously terrified of what she is seeing.

Snapshot of George the Pig
When I was young I met a cute, adorible, little pigglet named George in a devine resturant. He smelled of the freshed spring daffodils, sweet peach tea, and had oddly painted toenails that where neon green. He had a little chestnut brown and baby pink body with a tiny curled tail. He wore a dazzling diamond collar embeded with sparkling emralds and lined with shiny platinum. His left ear was pierced with a small, silver hoop.
He sat on a small chair as if he thought he was a person. He started squeling when his screaming pot of tea came out on a delicate silver platter. Next he was brought a dancing inferno of baked Alaska. Being fed by hand he bounced off the walls after all the sugar. Then as he passed out in his plate of food we left and I have never seen George again.

A Good Listener
In the story Of Mice and Men a main confiding scene is when George tells Slim about the incedent in Weed. Another is when Curley's wife approaches Lennie and tells him about her dreams of being a movie star. When you read these you see that being a good listener includes restating what the speaker has already said in your own words so they know you have been following along, and to give them some situations where you can relate to there issues. You must also be very gentle to ones opinion, expecially if the person is sensitive about the subject. I myself have been double crossed after confiding in someone. I had told a close friend of mine that I was failing a class and they spread it around like wild fire. I felt like they didn't even care about how upset I was about it. For me it is not uncommon for others to confide in me because I do listen and try to associate others problems to those I have faced in times past. I handle their trust with great care because I know the feeling of betrail and for anyone to have to feel anything like that would be horrible to me.

A perfect world
The world around us is full of flaws and mistakes. People mess up, do things they know they shouldn't, and nature can get in your way. My version of a perfect world is quiet simple, people live in harmony and life would be full of prosparity. Violence would not be tollerated. If it was perfect in my eyes it would be a mesopotamia. A true paradise for human and animal life.
Every person would have there own land in which when they would pass they would apoint it to whom they saw were best fit. Families would not fight nor would they be violent towards each other. There would be no wars which also means no fatalities for another persons greed or selfishness. If conflict were to arise it would be dealt with in an orderly and kind fashion. If a married couple were to split up then the child would decide who they wanted to stay with, if they were too young to choose for themselves a judge would decide after examining which parent was best fit to care for them. They would still be able to visit the other parent if they wanted to.
Violence and hostility would be severly punished. They old testament an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth would be the law. If one man were to kill another they would be killed in a fashion almost the same as the victim. If the laws would be violated they would be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Justice will always be on the side of each person. The court system used today would be used in order for a trial to be fair.
My perfect world may be entirely diffrent from other peoples perspectives. I've always be a follower of justice there fore it would be a very important part of my world. Life would almost be like how it was in the time of the cowboys. Life would be simple and sweet. People would live there own lives without interference with government or if they wanted the rest of society. Humans live there lives the way they want.
